Cristhian Mosquera is heading to Singapore to join Arsenal’s pre-season tour, after the club finalized terms with Valencia.
Although the exact figure is not clear, it is estimated that the deal could be around 17 million pounds sterling (22.9 million dollars), including add-ons.
Although neither club has confirmed the transfer, Mosquera is expected to arrive in Asia soon, prior to the Gunners’ first friendly against AC Milan on Wednesday.
The 21-year-old player will provide cover for the starting central defensive pairing, William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes, and is expected to sign a long-term contract.

Mosquera, with 90 appearances for Valencia and participation in the Spanish under-21 team, will become the club’s fifth signing this summer.
The club has invested in Martin Zubimendi, Noni Madueke, Christian Norgaard and Kepa Arrizabalaga, with a total expenditure of around £140 million.
In addition, negotiations continue with Sporting Lisbon for Viktor Gyokeres, with Arsenal close to securing an initial agreement of 63 million euros, plus an additional 10 million euros in add-ons, the details of which are still being discussed.
