Fort Lauderdale, Florida – Lionel Messi, Inter Miami superstar and eight-time Ballon d’Or winner, is about to reveal his favorite goal to the world.
The Argentine star, world champion, announced on Tuesday that on May 22nd he will unveil the goal he considers the most special of his brilliant career.
This announcement marks a significant milestone, as the choice of Messi will give rise to a unique work of art. A visual representation of the chosen goal will be transformed into an artistic piece that will be auctioned for charitable purposes.
The task of selecting a single goal from the more than 800 he has scored for clubs and the Argentine national team is not easy. Messi has delighted fans with his goals at FC Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and, currently, Inter Miami.

The artwork, which will be signed by both Messi and the artist Refik Anadol, will be presented in New York on June 11 by the auction house Christie’s.
Choosing just one goal out of all of them is very difficult. Each one is special in its own way, and some are really important or bring incredible memories. But highlighting one as a favorite for the first time, to make this unique project possible, is worth it. There is a strong purpose behind this, and I am very happy to be a part of it.
