Liverpool players are ready to start their pre-season training this Tuesday, following the tragic death of striker Diogo Jota, according to sources close to the team.
Jota, 28, and his brother André Silva, 25, lost their lives in a car accident in northwestern Spain last week.
Liverpool manager Arne Slot and several first-team members attended the funeral of the brothers in Gondomar, Portugal, on Saturday.
Initially, some players were to report for preseason testing last Friday, but those plans were postponed due to Jota’s passing.
