Liverpool Rejects Million-Dollar Offer for Luis Díaz
Liverpool have rejected a 67.5 million euro (£58.6 million) offer from Bayern Munich for forward Luis Díaz.
Díaz had the most productive season of his career at Liverpool, scoring 17 goals in all competitions.
The 28-year-old player has two years remaining on his contract and has been linked with a possible exit from Anfield, becoming one of Bayern’s main targets.The German club presented a formal offer on Tuesday.
However, Liverpool quickly rejected the offer and maintains its stance that Díaz is not available for transfer this summer.
This is the second time in a matter of weeks that Liverpool has rejected interest in Díaz, as they also turned down an offer from Barcelona earlier in the summer.
A considerable offer would probably be needed for the Anfield club to reconsider its position.
