Liverpool Rejects Bayern Munich’s Offer for Luis Díaz
Liverpool have turned down a proposal from Bayern Munich for Colombian winger Luis Díaz, according to sources close to the club.
The Reds have no intention of letting the player leave during this summer transfer window.
Díaz had an outstanding season with Liverpool, scoring 17 goals in all competitions and contributing to the Premier League title.
The 28-year-old player has two years remaining on his current contract and has been the subject of speculation about his possible departure from Anfield.
Sources reported that Bayern director Max Eberl was notified of Liverpool’s stance, which is not interested in starting talks.
This is the second time in a few weeks that Liverpool has rejected interest in Díaz, as they previously dismissed an offer from Barcelona.
It is understood that the club will not consider any further offers for Díaz and maintains that the player is not available for transfer.
