Arsenal defender Myles Lewis-Skelly and Chelsea striker Liam Delap are among the nominees for the PFA Young Player of the Year award 2024-25.
The award, which is voted for by the players at the end of each season, will be presented at a ceremony at the Manchester Opera House on August 19th.

Real Madrid’s recent signing, Dean Huijsen, has also been nominated after a standout individual season at Bournemouth. Milos Kerkez, a former teammate at Bournemouth, Arsenal forward Ethan Nwaneri, and Morgan Rogers of Aston Villa complete the list of six candidates.
Lewis-Skelly, 18, is nominated after a standout campaign for Arsenal, where he scored his first goal in the 5-1 victory over Manchester City.His teammate, Nwaneri, who became the youngest player to appear in the Premier League at the age of 15 in 2022, also impressed for Arsenal last season.
Meanwhile, Huijsen, 20 years old, stood out in Bournemouth’s defense, which led Madrid to activate his 50 million pound release clause in May.
Kerkez’s equally striking form brings him closer to a move to Liverpool. Delap earned the nomination after a solid goalscoring season at Ipswich Town, scoring 12 times during the campaign.
Rogers from Villa completes the list of nominees, with eight goals in the league last season, securing qualification for the Europa League for Unai Emery’s team.
