João Félix Joins Al Nassr on Permanent Transfer

Portuguese footballer João Félix has finalized his transfer to Al Nassr, coming from Chelsea, in a permanent agreement that extends for two years, as announced by the Saudi Pro League club. Although the financial details were not publicly disclosed by Al Nassr, reports suggest that the transaction could amount to 50 million euros.

The 25-year-old player expressed his enthusiasm for this new stage. Previously, Benfica, Félix’s former team, tried to sign him, but they couldn’t reach an agreement with Chelsea. The Portuguese national team striker has joined Al Nassr in Saalfelden, Austria, for the pre-season. In Al Nassr, Félix will work under the direction of Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus, who was appointed this month, and will play alongside his national teammate Cristiano Ronaldo. Ronaldo recently extended his contract with Al Nassr for two years.

Félix will seek to relaunch his career after his time at Chelsea and AC Milan. He returned to Chelsea with a seven-year contract in August 2024, after having been on loan at the club during the second half of the 2022-23 season. At Chelsea, he scored 11 goals in 40 matches across all competitions. The second half of last season, he was on loan at AC Milan, where he scored three goals in 19 appearances. Al Nassr seeks to conquer the Saudi Pro League after finishing in third place last season.
