Bayer Leverkusen has announced the appointment of Kasper Hjulmand as the new head coach, following the dismissal of Erik Ten Hag. The announcement was made this Monday, marking a significant change in the technical direction of the Bundesliga club.
Ten Hag was dismissed after only two matchdays of the season, and Hjulmand signs a contract that ties him to the club until 2027. This strategic move seeks to revitalize the team and establish a new direction on the field.
Hjulmand has an outstanding career, including his time as the national team coach of Denmark and an experience in the Bundesliga with Mainz 05 during the 2014-15 season, where he succeeded Thomas Tuchel.
We are delighted to have brought in Kasper Hjulmand, whose work we have followed closely for a long time.
