ORLANDO, Fla. – Erling Haaland reached an impressive milestone by scoring the 300th goal of his career, both at club level and with his national team. This achievement came during the crucial match between Manchester City and Juventus, in the context of the FIFA Club World Cup, held in Orlando.

Haaland, 24 years old, started the match as a substitute, but was called onto the field at the beginning of the second half, replacing Omar Marmoush.

The Norwegian striker, who previously played for Borussia Dortmund, needed only seven minutes to make his mark on the scoreboard. With his third touch of the ball, he managed to send the ball into the net, extending City’s lead.

This goal, which put City ahead 3-1 against Juventus, represents Haaland’s 123rd goal with Manchester City in 145 matches. Furthermore, it raises his personal tally to 300 goals in 370 matches played with Molde, RB Salzburg, Borussia Dortmund, Manchester City and the Norwegian national team.

Haaland has achieved this figure in significantly fewer matches than other prominent goalscorers such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, and Kylian Mbappé.
