Garnacho in the Spotlight: Manchester United and Chelsea Negotiate

Manchester United and Chelsea are in talks about a possible transfer of Alejandro Garnacho, according to sources close to the negotiation. United values the young footballer at around £50 million ($67 million), although Chelsea believes it could negotiate a significantly lower fee. Garnacho has been informed by United’s directors that he must look for a new club. In addition, he was excluded from the summer tour of the United States by coach Ruben Amorim. Since the team returned to Carrington on Tuesday, Garnacho has been training separately from the first team. The Argentinian winger has made it clear that his preference is to move to Stamford Bridge.

Sesko has arrived in Manchester ahead of a possible transfer for 85 million euros from Leipzig. After securing the agreement for the 22-year-old Slovenian, United’s priority is to secure an exit for Garnacho. Sources indicate that negotiations with Chelsea could accelerate rapidly over the weekend. United are also open to offers for Antony, Jadon Sancho, Tyrell Malacia and Rasmus Højlund. Højlund is valued at around 40 million pounds and is the subject of interest from AC Milan, but the Danish striker has informed the club that his preference is to stay and fight for a place at Old Trafford.
