Fenerbahce close to signing Marco Asensio
Fenerbahce is in advanced talks to sign Paris Saint-Germain forward Marco Asensio, according to sources close to the club.
The Spanish international, who has one year left on his contract with PSG, has given his approval to join the Turkish Super Lig team, currently managed by José Mourinho.
Negotiations between both clubs are very advanced, and an agreement is expected to be reached that will allow the definitive transfer of Asensio to Fenerbahce.
Asensio, 29 years old, played the second half of last season on loan at Aston Villa, where he scored three goals in 13 Premier League appearances.
Winner of the Champions League on three occasions with Real Madrid, Asensio has scored seven goals in 47 matches with PSG since his arrival in the summer of 2023.
