David Coote, former Premier League referee, faces charges related to the creation of an indecent image of a minor. The former referee, 43, and a resident of Collingham, is scheduled to appear before Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, September 11. The charge of creating an indecent image of a minor refers to actions such as downloading, sharing, or storing photos or videos of abuse. The accusation is based on a video recovered by Nottinghamshire police in February, according to authorities. Coote was charged on August 12 and is out on conditional bail.
