Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. called up to Portugal’s Under-16 team

Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., son of football legend Cristiano Ronaldo, has been called up for the first time to the Portugal U-16 national team. The 15-year-old, who is currently part of Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia, the team where his father plays, has been included in the list of 22 players for the Tournament of Federations Cup in Turkey. This youth tournament promises exciting matches against teams from Turkey, Wales, and England, scheduled between October 30th and November 4th.
Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. debuted with the Portugal U-15 national team in May, marking the beginning of a promising career. His current call-up increases the possibility of seeing him share the field with his famous father in the future. The young Ronaldo has also spent time in the lower categories of clubs like Juventus and Manchester United, teams where his father left his mark before joining the Saudi Pro League in December 2022. Cristiano Ronaldo, with an impressive career, debuted with the senior national team in 2001, accumulating 223 matches and scoring 143 goals for Portugal, both world records in men’s international football.
