The international friendly match between Argentina and Puerto Rico has been moved from Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois, to Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The change was announced recently. The match will be played on Tuesday, October 14, instead of Monday, October 13. The venue modification was due to low ticket sales, according to Luca Serra, spokesperson for the Chicago Park District.VMG Sports and Entertainment, the match promoter, has not yet issued an official statement about the change. An anonymous executive from the Argentine Football Association (AFA) informed Associated Press that the match was rescheduled due to immigration measures in the city of Chicago.“Yes, I confirm that the Argentina vs. Puerto Rico match has been canceled in Chicago,” Serra told Associated Press. “The promoter made the decision this morning due to low ticket sales.”
