Antony reveals lack of respect at Manchester United after his departure.

The footballer Antony has expressed his feelings regarding his final stage at Manchester United, before his transfer to Real Betis. The Brazilian player joined Betis on loan last season, before completing a permanent transfer for 22 million euros. During his transition period between United and Betis, Antony was separated from training with his teammates and was not included in the team’s pre-season tour.

Antony spent three years at Manchester United. The footballer added that he perceived a “lack of respect”, and even “a bit of rudeness”, in his treatment, even without receiving a greeting.

When asked about the reasons why things didn’t work out at United, Antony stated that off-field matters affected his performance. The player added that he takes responsibility for not having performed as expected, but that he always looks for the positive side of experiences, considering that his time at United was necessary for his personal growth.
