Alexander-Arnold, who shared a locker room with Jota for years at Liverpool, expressed that the match was emotionally challenging.
The footballer also highlighted the importance of fulfilling his responsibilities on the field, despite the circumstances. At the end of the day, I had a job to do. I had to go out there and perform for the team, help win the game, no matter how difficult it was.I want to send my condolences, my thoughts and prayers to a close friend. I shared five years in the locker room with him and it is evident that he will never be forgotten by anyone. He will live on in our memories.
