The basketball star, Caitlin Clark, is preparing for her return to action, but this time on the golf course. After a season marked by injuries in the WNBA, Clark will participate in the pro-am next month at The Annika, an LPGA Tour event.
The pro-am will take place on November 12th at the Pelican Golf Club and will be open to the public. Clark, who had already generated great anticipation in her first season in the WNBA, promises to attract a considerable crowd. The Annika is the penultimate tournament on the LPGA schedule. Clark has a corporate relationship with Gainbridge Insurance, the main sponsor of the event. The second season of Clark in the WNBA was affected by injuries. She was only able to play 13 games and was ruled out for the rest of the season on September 4 due to a groin injury. Despite this, the Indiana Fever managed to reach the playoffs, although they were eliminated by the Las Vegas Aces in the semifinals.I had an incredible time at The Annika last November and participating in the pro-am alongside Nelly Korda and Annika Sorenstam, two of the best in the game.
