Ojomoh Brillante: England Celebrates Triumph and Challenge at the Center for the 6 Nations

Max Ojomoh revealed that the great competition in England’s midfield was the inspiration behind his outstanding performance at the Allianz Stadium against Argentina. Ojomoh, who entered the field as a last-minute replacement at inside center due to Fraser Dingwall’s injury, responded with an outstanding performance. The 25-year-old was named the player of the match, scoring a try and assisting on two more. This poses a challenge for Steve Borthwick, the coach, ahead of the start of the Six Nations against Wales on February 7. Ojomoh, Dingwall, and Seb Atkinson are competing for a starting position in a position that has historically been problematic for England.

A year ago, people were talking about a crisis in the center. Now I see Seb, Fraser, Ollie Lawrence, Luke Northmore and many number 12s emerging, and that competition drives everyone to a higher level.

Ojomoh added:

It’s a very competitive position, so there are many contenders for a place on the field. If you’re in shape, you move forward.

After opening the scoring with a try in the 10th minute, Ojomoh assisted tries for Immanuel Feyi-Waboso and Henry Slade. Feyi-Waboso scored after catching a precise pass from Ojomoh, while Slade benefited from his teammate’s run and pass to achieve a crucial try.

My favorite part was the cross-pass because I had never done it in the Prem.

Ojomoh continued:

I’ve tried it when I’ve had penalty advantage, and I’ve missed them all, so it was a great moment for it to work. And to kick it to a very good friend, Manny [Feyi-Waboso] – I’m glad he scored the try.

About the pass, Ojomoh said:

I was very surprised by the pass. I saw Sladey and thought ‘nothing to lose, I might as well give it a go’. England achieved their eleventh consecutive victory by defeating the Pumas and is emerging as a serious contender for the Six Nations title.

I’m very happy for the team that we’ve achieved four out of four this month. It’s a great way to finish.

Max Ojomoh
He concluded by saying:

It’s been a very good campaign from a very well-knit team. It’s good to be a part of it.
