The British and Irish Lions face the Queensland Reds in Brisbane

The British and Irish Lions tour of Australia continues with their first midweek clash of the series against the Queensland Reds in Brisbane on Wednesday.

After a resounding 54-7 victory over the Western Force in Perth, the competition will intensify at Suncorp Stadium against a Reds team that includes several Wallabies players.

For the first time in this series, Lions scrum-half Jamison Gibson-Park and fullback Hugo Keenan will have game time after recovering from injuries.

Tomos Williams, Welsh scrum-half, has been ruled out of the tour after suffering a hamstring injury. Ben White of Scotland has been called up to the team.

The Reds finished fifth in the Super Rugby table this year, the second-best Australian team after the ACT Brumbies, and should pose a tougher test for the tourists.
