England vs Argentina: Ojomoh replaces Dingwall due to injury, Daly returns

English center Fraser Dingwall has been ruled out of Sunday’s match against Argentina. Max Ojomoh, a Bath player, will take his place in the midfield. Dingwall, who had been named to partner with Henry Slade, suffered an injury that sidelined him from the match. Ojomoh, 25 years old, earned his only call-up with England in the summer against the United States. In addition, he has represented England at the under-18 and under-20 levels. England has had to deal with several injuries throughout their autumn campaign. Tom Roebuck will also miss this weekend’s match. Elliot Daly will take his place on the wing, returning after recovering from a broken arm suffered while playing for the British and Irish Lions in the summer. Ollie Lawrence and Jamie George’s injuries in last week’s victory over the All Blacks ended their respective autumn campaigns. Tommy Freeman has also not played since the victory over Fiji fifteen days ago. Freddie Steward keeps his position at fullback, with Immanuel Feyi-Waboso on the left wing. Coach Steve Borthwick has also made some changes to the team. Ben Spencer will start at scrum-half instead of Alex Mitchell, who will be on the bench.
