The renowned captain of France, Antoine Dupont, considered one of the best rugby players of his generation, has invested in the Rugby Football Club Los Angeles (RFCLA), according to the Major League Rugby franchise.
The talented 28-year-old scrum-half joins the RFCLA ownership group alongside his company, Ouest Coast.
This event represents a significant milestone for rugby in the United States, at a crucial moment leading up to the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games and the Men’s and Women’s Rugby World Cups in 2031 and 2033, respectively.
Rugby is more than a sport; it is a community with strong values. I am excited about the opportunity to boost the popularity of rugby in the United States and establish an energetic hub of rugby culture that attracts players, fans, teams, and partners from all over the world.
Antoine Dupont

The incorporation of Dupont is a great achievement for the RFCLA, which is currently in its second season in the MLR, a rapidly growing league founded in 2017 as the first professional rugby competition in North America.
The franchise considers Dupont’s participation as a catalyst for its ambitions in commercial development and high-performance rugby.
We feel very privileged that Antoine has chosen the RFCLA as the path to inspire new players and rugby fans. His vision for integrating athleticism and the core values of rugby will prove invaluable in building a bright future for the sport in Los Angeles and throughout the United States.
