Vancouver, PWHL team, has secured the addition of forward Hannah Miller as a free agent. The official announcement was made this Monday, coinciding with the start of the league’s free agency period. Miller, 29, joins the team after playing two seasons in Toronto. Last season, she demonstrated her scoring ability with 10 goals and 14 assists in 29 games. Previously, the player spent five seasons with the KRS Vanke Rays team in China.

I am truly honored and very excited to join the team in Vancouver. It means a lot to me to represent the city where I fell in love with hockey. It’s a moment that closes a circle, and I can’t wait to meet all the fans and get started.

Hannah Miller
Originally from North Vancouver, British Columbia, Miller represented China at the Beijing 2022 Olympic Games, where she scored the host country’s first goal. In March of this year, Miller was selected for the Canadian women’s hockey world championship, but was subsequently declared ineligible due to the transfer rules of the International Ice Hockey Federation. Hannah is an elite forward who can score points and wear down her opponents. We are excited to bring her to Vancouver to be part of our base. Vancouver will continue to bolster its roster for the inaugural season with six selections in the 2025 PWHL Draft, to be held on June 24, including the seventh overall pick.
