Joe Pavelski, Zach Parise, and Scott Gomez Headline the 2025 U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Class

Major NHL figures, such as Joe Pavelski, Zach Parise, and Scott Gomez, lead the prestigious 2025 Class of the United States Hockey Hall of Fame. Olympic gold medalist Tara Mounsey and photographer Bruce Bennett will also be honored at a special ceremony to be held in St. Paul, Minnesota. USA Hockey announced the selection of these five outstanding individuals on Wednesday.

All members of this class share a common bond through the Winter Olympics. It is appropriate, as we prepare for another Olympic and Paralympic year, that all these people enter the Hall together.

Pat Kelleher, Executive Director of USA Hockey
Gomez, one of the first Latino players in the league, made history as the first to come from Alaska. In addition, he won the Stanley Cup twice with the New Jersey team. Sharing much of their careers, Gomez, Pavelski, and Parise accumulated 53 seasons in the NHL and represented the United States in the Olympics. Mounsey was key to the United States winning the first gold medal in women’s hockey at the 1998 Games and was part of the team that reached the final in 2002.

Being part of that team was incredible. Looking back and seeing how women’s ice hockey has exploded since 1998 is amazing. It’s incredible to witness the opportunities young women have on the ice and the role models they have.

Tara Mounsey
Bennett, with more than 50 years of experience, has photographed nearly 6,000 NHL and international games.
