The Seattle Kraken have finalized a strategic move by acquiring forward Frederick Gaudreau from the Minnesota Wild. The announcement was made this Thursday, marking a trade that involves a fourth-round pick in the next draft.

Gaudreau, 32, provided a solid performance during the previous season, accumulating 37 points thanks to 18 goals and 19 assists, participating in all 82 regular season games with the Wild.

The player is in his third season of a five-year, $10.5 million contract.

Throughout his career, Gaudreau has proven to be a consistent player, totaling 152 points, distributed in 61 goals and 91 assists, with a rating of +9 in 410 games. His career includes stints with the Nashville Predators (2016-19) and the Pittsburgh Penguins (2020-21).
