The Dallas Stars have secured the continuity of defenseman Nils Lundkvist with a one-year contract for $1.25 million, as announced this Friday.
Lundkvist, 24 years old, added five assists and a +4 differential in 39 games last season.

Throughout his career, Lundkvist has accumulated 44 points (9 goals and 35 assists) in 183 games, after having played with the New York Rangers and the Stars.
The Swedish player was drafted by the Rangers in the 2018 NHL draft and subsequently traded to Dallas on September 19, 2022.
In addition, the Stars have signed a one-year, $950,000 contract extension with forward Mavrik Bourque.
Bourque, 23, recorded 25 points (11 goals and 14 assists) in 73 games during the previous season.
