Ryan Donato Secures His Future with the Blackhawks: Four-Year Contract Extension
The Chicago Blackhawks have reached an agreement to extend forward Ryan Donato’s contract for four years, in a deal valued at $16 million. The official announcement was made on Wednesday, ensuring Donato’s stay with the team until the 2028-29 season. Donato, 29 years old, reaches this agreement after an outstanding season, setting personal records in his career. In the 80 matches played, the player scored 31 goals and 31 assists. Before this new contract, Donato was eligible for unrestricted free agency.“Ryan brings energy and competes with intensity in every game, which has been a great asset to our team over the last two seasons,” said Kyle Davidson, general manager of the Blackhawks. “He has been a fundamental piece in our offense, and we are excited for Ryan to continue making a difference in our lineup for the next four years.”
