Logan O’Connor, Colorado Avalanche Player, Undergoes Hip Surgery

The Colorado Avalanche forward, Logan O’Connor, underwent surgery on Friday due to a hip injury. He is expected to be out of action for five to six months, which could keep him sidelined until December.

During the 2024-25 season, O’Connor participated in 80 games, accumulating a total of 21 points, distributed in 10 goals and 11 assists. His defensive performance was recognized, finishing in 29th position in the voting for the Frank J. Selke Trophy, which awards the forward with the best defensive performance.

Throughout his seven seasons in the NHL, all with the Avalanche, the 28-year-old player has recorded 103 points, with 45 goals and 58 assists, in a total of 343 games played.
