Property worth $200,000 stolen from Shedeur Sanders’ house
The rookie quarterback for the Cleveland Browns, Shedeur Sanders, was the victim of a robbery at his home on Sunday, resulting in the loss of property valued at approximately $200,000, according to police reports.
The incident took place while Sanders was making his NFL debut in the game against the Baltimore Ravens at Huntington Bank Field in Cleveland.
According to a press release from the Medina County Sheriff’s Office, three suspects entered Sanders’ residence around 6:46 p.m. ET. Surveillance cameras captured images of the individuals entering and exiting different areas of the house. The suspects, who were wearing masks and gloves, were seen leaving the property around 6:58 p.m. ET, taking with them goods belonging to Sanders.
The Sheriff’s Office is conducting an investigation into the incident.
Sanders, selected in the 144th pick of the 2025 NFL draft, entered the game in the second half as a replacement for starter Dillon Gabriel, who was placed in concussion protocol.
In Sunday’s game, which ended in a 23-16 loss, Sanders completed 4 of 16 passes for 47 yards and threw an interception. He was also sacked twice.
Browns coach Kevin Stefanski stated after the game that Sanders will be the starter in the next game against the Raiders in Las Vegas, in case Gabriel is unable to clear the protocol.
