Property worth $200,000 stolen from Shedeur Sanders’ house

The rookie quarterback for the Cleveland Browns, Shedeur Sanders, was the victim of a robbery at his home on Sunday, resulting in the loss of property valued at approximately $200,000, according to police reports.

The incident occurred while Sanders was making his NFL debut in the game against the Baltimore Ravens at Huntington Bank Field in Cleveland.

According to a statement from the Medina County Sheriff’s Office, three suspects entered Sanders’ residence around 6:46 p.m. ET. Security cameras captured images of the individuals entering and exiting various areas of the house. The suspects, who were wearing masks and gloves, were seen leaving the property around 6:58 p.m. ET, taking with them belongings belonging to Sanders.

The Sheriff’s Office is conducting an investigation into the incident.

Sanders, selected in the 144th pick of the 2025 NFL draft, entered the game in the second half in place of starter Dillon Gabriel, who was placed in concussion protocol.

In the 23-16 loss, Sanders completed 4 of 16 passes for 47 yards and threw an interception. He was also sacked twice. Browns coach Kevin Stefanski announced after the game that Sanders will be the starter next Sunday against the Raiders in Las Vegas, in case Gabriel is unable to clear the protocol.
