Shedeur Sanders, Browns Rookie Quarterback, Faces Speeding Issues

The young Cleveland Browns quarterback, Shedeur Sanders, has been fined for speeding twice this month. The first infraction occurred on June 5th in Brunswick Hills, Ohio, where he was stopped for driving at 91 mph in a 65 mph zone.

According to Medina Municipal Court records, Sanders did not appear for the arraignment for this infraction last Monday, facing fines and court costs totaling $269.

The situation worsened when Sanders was arrested again early Tuesday morning in Strongsville, Ohio, for driving 101 mph in a 60 mph zone. The incident was confirmed by the Strongsville Police Department.

The Browns’ team has addressed the situation with Sanders, who will have to pay a $250 fine for the fourth-degree misdemeanor or contest the fine in Strongsville Mayor’s Court on July 3.

Sanders, 23, participated in the Browns’ mandatory minicamp last week and stayed in Cleveland with other rookies for an orientation.

Selected in the fifth round of this year’s draft, Sanders is currently in fourth position on the team’s depth chart, behind Dillon Gabriel and veterans Kenny Pickett and Joe Flacco.
