Breaking news for American football fans! Philadelphia Eagles star running back Saquon Barkley will be the main image on the cover of the highly anticipated Madden NFL 26, according to EA Sports.

But that’s not all, Barkley has also been included in the prestigious Madden 99 Club, an unprecedented achievement for an Eagles offensive player.

Being on the cover of Madden NFL 26 and being part of the Madden NFL ’99 Club’ are dreams come true. I am grateful to my teammates, coaches, and Eagles fans for their support, and I can’t wait to get back on the field to give Madden players more memorable moments in Madden NFL 26.

Barkley, recognized as the Offensive Player of the Year by the Associated Press, is coming off a historic season. He broke the record for rushing yards in a season, accumulating 2,504 yards between the regular season and the playoffs. His impressive performance included a play that will be etched in the memory of fans: the innovative “reverse hurdle” he performed in early November against the Jacksonville Jaguars. In a crucial play, Barkley caught a pass, broke a tackle with a spin move, and then, with his back to the defender, jumped over him to gain additional yards.
