Saints Add Thomas Dimitroff as Consultant
The New Orleans Saints have brought in Thomas Dimitroff, former general manager of the Atlanta Falcons, as a consultant, the team announced this Tuesday.
Dimitroff, who served as the Falcons’ general manager from 2008 to 2020, joins the Saints’ structure, becoming the third former general manager to be part of the team’s front office.
Jeff Ireland, current assistant general manager, was general manager of the Miami Dolphins between 2008 and 2013. In addition, the Saints re-hired Randy Mueller, who was the team’s general manager from 2000 to 2001, last year as senior personnel advisor.
It should be noted that the Saints also had Dave Ziegler, former general manager of the Las Vegas Raiders, as an advisor last year, before the Tennessee Titans hired him as assistant general manager.
