Property worth $200,000 stolen from Shedeur Sanders’ house
The rookie quarterback for the Cleveland Browns, Shedeur Sanders, was the victim of a robbery at his home last Sunday, according to authorities. The thieves stole goods worth approximately $200,000.
According to a press release from the Medina County Sheriff’s Office, three suspects entered Sanders’ residence around 6:46 p.m. ET. Security cameras captured images of the individuals entering and exiting different areas of the house. The suspects, who were wearing masks and gloves, were seen leaving Sanders’ property around 6:58 p.m. ET, taking valuables with them.
The Sheriff’s Office is conducting an investigation into the incident.
The robbery occurred while Sanders was making his NFL debut in Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens at Huntington Bank Field in Cleveland.
Sanders, selected at the 144th pick of the 2025 NFL draft, entered the game in the second half, replacing Dillon Gabriel, who was placed in concussion protocol.
In Sunday’s 23-16 defeat, Sanders completed 4 of 16 passes for 47 yards and threw an interception. He was also sacked twice. Browns coach Kevin Stefanski stated after the game that Sanders will be the starter in next Sunday’s game against the Raiders in Las Vegas, if Gabriel is unable to clear the protocol.
