NFL Loosens Restrictions for Tom Brady as Fox Commentator

The NFL has decided to ease some of the restrictions imposed on Tom Brady in his role as a Fox commentator, according to a confirmed source this Wednesday. Among the modifications, Brady will be allowed to attend production meetings during this season. The source revealed that Brady, who is also a partial owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, will have to participate in production meetings remotely. It is important to note that he will not yet be allowed to attend training sessions at the teams’ facilities. In addition, Brady will have the opportunity to interview players off-site. After a successful 23-year career as a player, Brady debuted on Fox last season, thanks to a 10-year, $375 million contract, originally agreed upon in 2022. The limitations imposed were due to his agreement to become a partial owner of the Raiders, a deal that was approved by the league’s owners in October. Some of these restrictions had been lifted for last season’s Super Bowl, where Brady participated in the Fox broadcast and was able to attend production meetings for that game. Other restrictions that were applied to Brady last season included a ban on publicly criticizing game officials and other teams, as well as being subject to the NFL’s anti-tampering policies. Brady will be present at the Week 1 game between the New York Giants and the Washington Commanders, and will also comment on the Super Bowl rematch between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 2.
