Logan Cooke, Jaguars Punter, Signs Million-Dollar Extension

The Jacksonville Jaguars have secured the continuity of their talented punter, Logan Cooke, with a four-year contract extension. A source close to the league revealed that this agreement makes Cooke the highest-paid punter in the NFL.

Cooke’s new contract averages $4 million annually, surpassing the $3.67 million that Michael Dickson of the Seattle Seahawks receives. Cooke was about to finish the last year of his four-year extension, signed in 2022, and was scheduled to earn $3 million in 2025.

Since his arrival in the league in 2018, Cooke has led the NFL in net punt average, with 43.5 yards. The player, selected by the Jaguars in the seventh round of the draft, also stands out for having the most punts that leave the opponent inside the 10-yard line (83) during that period.

Cooke, the longest-tenured player on the Jaguars, was selected for his first Pro Bowl last season, after ranking second in the NFL with a net punt average of 44.8 yards.
