Packers RB Josh Jacobs is week-to-week

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs will be out week-to-week after undergoing further tests on Monday. The examinations revealed no structural damage to the knee he injured during Sunday’s victory against the New York Giants. Jacobs left the game in the first half and was ruled out for the rest of the match. Packers coach Matt LaFleur expressed his initial concern after the game.

“I think anytime a player, especially of his magnitude, but anytime a player doesn’t finish a game, you’re always concerned about their well-being,” LaFleur said.

However, runner Emanuel Wilson stated that Jacobs indicated to him that he would be fine.

“I know it’s fine,” said Wilson, who ran 11 times for 40 yards, including a touchdown.

Packers quarterback Jordan Love also briefly left the game on Sunday, missing seven plays in the first half while being checked for a left shoulder injury. Love said after the game that the injury to his non-dominant shoulder was noticeable but manageable.
