Isaiah Bond Free of Charges: Sexual Assault Case Closed

1 Min Read

Former Texas wide receiver Isaiah Bond has been cleared in the sexual assault case, according to his agent, Damien Butler.

Bond, who was facing criminal charges, will not have to answer to the justice system for this case.

In April, Bond was arrested following an arrest warrant for sexual assault. After posting a $25,000 bail, he was released.

After his release, Bond used social media to claim that the accusation against him was “false”.

Subsequently, the player sued the woman who accused him, arguing, through his lawyers, that the sexual encounter was consensual.

The lawsuit, which included a defamation claim, was dismissed last month by the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas.

Bond, considered a promising prospect for this year’s NFL draft, was not selected after his arrest.

In his only season with Texas in 2024, Bond achieved 34 receptions for 540 yards and five touchdowns. Previously, in his two seasons with Alabama, he accumulated 65 receptions for 888 yards and five touchdowns.
