Dolphins Coach Arrested for Assault
FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida – Miami Dolphins outside linebackers coach Ryan Crow was arrested early Friday on a domestic battery charge, according to Broward County jail records. According to the probable cause affidavit from the Fort Lauderdale Police Department, Crow had an argument with a person he resides with and pushed her. The alleged victim declined to make a formal statement to police after they responded shortly after midnight Friday, and claimed to have suffered no injuries. However, two witnesses told police that Crow was the aggressor, one of them said that the “victim seemed terrified”. The other witness stated that Crow stopped his actions upon noticing that people were watching the confrontation and returned to his apartment. Until Friday morning, Crow remained in custody at Broward County’s main jail without bond. The Dolphins placed Crow on administrative leave following his arrest.Crow, 37, joined the Dolphins in 2024 after three seasons in the same role with the Tennessee Titans. He has coached in the NFL since 2018, both with the Titans and the Dolphins.“We are aware of the serious matter involving Ryan Crow and are currently gathering more information,” the Dolphins stated in a statement. “Ryan has been placed on administrative leave effective immediately. We have been in communication with the NFL and will reserve further comment at this time.”
