Concern in Dallas: Cowboys Suffer Significant Losses Due to Injuries

In the first three games of the season, the Dallas Cowboys face a significant challenge: the loss of three key starters on their offense due to injuries. Star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb could be out of action for three to four weeks due to a left ankle sprain suffered in Sunday’s loss against the Chicago Bears. In addition, rookie right guard Tyler Booker, a first-round pick for the Cowboys, will miss four to six weeks also due to an ankle sprain.

We are analyzing that situation. We’ll see in a few more days. We don’t have to decide right now.

Jerry Jones, owner and general manager of the Cowboys.
Cooper Beebe, center, is already on the injured reserve list due to a right foot fracture, suffered in Week 2. If Lamb and Booker are placed on the injury reserve list, they will miss at least the next four games. After the game against the Green Bay Packers, the Cowboys will face the New York Jets, the Carolina Panthers, and the Washington Commanders. Cowboys coach Brian Schottenheimer has not set a specific timeline for Lamb’s return.

CeeDee is a player who recovers quickly and will do everything he can to come back.

Lamb, who was coming off two consecutive games with over 100 receiving yards, suffered the injury in the first quarter of the game against the Bears. George Pickens will assume the role of the team’s number one receiver while Lamb is out. The Cowboys’ roster also includes wide receivers Jalen Tolbert, KaVontae Turpin, and Ryan Flournoy.

We have a lot of ammunition to do what we have to do.
