ASHBURN, Va. – The Washington Commanders are preparing to face the Chicago Bears with significant absences in their receiving corps. The team could be without two of its three main receivers, and even potentially without all of them for Monday’s game.

Confirmed Departures and Doubts

Commanders coach Dan Quinn confirmed the absence of Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) and Noah Brown (groin/knee) for the game. In addition, Deebo Samuel’s participation is uncertain due to a heel contusion.McLaurin will miss his third consecutive game, while Brown will be absent for the fourth time. Samuel, for his part, has participated in all five games of the season and his physical condition will be defined until Monday.McLaurin suffered the quadriceps injury on September 21st against the Las Vegas Raiders, during a play in the end zone. Despite this, he was seen running on the training field, but separate from the team.Brown, who participated in training in a limited way, is not yet in optimal condition to play, according to Quinn.McLaurin, after signing a three-year contract extension, has recorded 10 receptions for 149 yards without touchdowns in the first three games.Samuel, the Commanders’ most prominent receiver, leads the team with 30 receptions, 300 yards, and three touchdowns. His absence would be a hard blow for the team.In the last two weeks, without McLaurin and Brown, Samuel has accumulated 14 receptions for 168 yards.Brown, in the first two games, achieved three receptions for 36 yards. Last season, with the Commanders, he totaled 35 receptions for 453 yards and a touchdown.
