Buccaneers Secure Luke Goedeke with Million-Dollar Extension
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and right tackle Luke Goedeke have reached an agreement on a four-year, $90 million contract extension, with $50 million guaranteed, according to sources who informed Alofoke Deportes this Tuesday.
Goedeke, selected in the second round of the 2022 draft by the Buccaneers, was scheduled to become a free agent after this season.
The 26-year-old player has participated in 41 games during his three seasons with the Buccaneers, starting in 31 of them.
In addition, Goedeke has been a starter in the four playoff games in which he has participated with Tampa Bay.
The Buccaneers secured left tackle Tristan Wirfs with a five-year extension last year, so now the team has both of its starting offensive tackles under contract through the 2029 season.
