Courtland Sutton Secures His Future with the Broncos: Million-Dollar Extension
The Denver Broncos and wide receiver Courtland Sutton have reached an agreement on a four-year, $92 million contract extension. Sutton, 29, was about to enter the final season of his current contract, a four-year, $60.8 million extension he signed with the Broncos in 2021.In 2024, Sutton achieved his personal best with 81 receptions. His 1,081 receiving yards and eight touchdowns were the second-highest figures of his seven-year career. Last season, Sutton and the Bengals’ Tee Higgins tied for seventh in the league in receptions in tight coverage situations (27). Sutton was the only Broncos player among the league’s top 90 in this category. In his seven seasons with the Broncos, Sutton has 379 receptions for 5,340 yards and 32 touchdowns. He was selected by the team in the second round of the 2018 NFL draft.Sutton has repeatedly expressed his desire to end his career with the Broncos.
