Tom Brady Crowned Champion at the Fanatics Games

The legendary quarterback, Tom Brady, once again demonstrated his competitive spirit by winning the inaugural edition of the Fanatics Games. The event, which took place this weekend at the Fanatics Fest in New York, brought together athletes, celebrities, and fans in a series of eight competitions. Brady topped the leaderboard of 100 participants with an impressive score of 399.1 points, securing the one million dollar prize.

The former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback, currently co-owner of the Las Vegas Raiders and NFL commentator for Fox Sports, announced his intention to donate $5,000 to each of the 50 fans who competed in the event, in addition to allocating the rest of the profits to charity.

The competition included various sports skills tests, such as quarterback precision throwing, basketball shots, soccer goals, baseball throwing accuracy, a hockey challenge, a WWE superstar entrance, a UFC combat challenge, and a golf challenge.

Leaderboard

Justin Gaethje, UFC fighter, took second place with 345.5 points, winning a Ferrari 812 GTS. Matt Dennish, a 39-year-old teacher from Pennsylvania, secured third place with 326 points, taking home a LeBron James rookie card, numbered to 50 and graded 9.5 by Beckett Grading Services. Dennish subsequently sold the card to Brady for $250,000, in addition to receiving a card and a jersey signed by the future Pro Football Hall of Famer. Among the top ten finishers, six were amateurs. James Harden, star of the LA Clippers, and Eli Manning, former quarterback of the New York Giants, were the only athletes, besides the top two, who managed to make it into the top 10.
