Bengals Bolster Offense with Addition of Noah Fant

The Cincinnati Bengals are about to add a renowned veteran to their offense.

Tight end Noah Fant, a former first-round draft pick, will sign a one-year contract with the Bengals, according to sources. In his six seasons in the league, Fant has started 83 of his 95 appearances. Last year, with the Seattle Seahawks, he had 48 receptions for 500 yards and a touchdown.

Fant spent the first three years of his career with the Denver Broncos. In 2022, he was traded to the Seahawks, where he started in 42 games.

The former Iowa player has been exploring his options since the Seahawks released him in July. He visited the Bengals, Miami Dolphins, and New Orleans Saints before deciding on the Bengals.

Joins a closed-wings group that already has veterans Mike Gesicki and Drew Sample as primary options. Gesicki is the team’s primary pass-catching tight end, while Sample has been valued for his contributions to the running game. This offseason, Gesicki signed a three-year contract with the Bengals worth $25.5 million.
