Mac Jones ready to play despite injury

The San Francisco 49ers quarterback, Mac Jones, who was questionable for Sunday’s game due to an oblique injury, is expected to play against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Niners wide receiver Jauan Jennings is also expected to participate in the game despite ankle and rib discomfort.

Jones, who played with a knee problem in last week’s victory over the Los Angeles Rams, revealed that he suffered the oblique injury at the end of that game.

Although Jones had limitations in training, he expressed optimism about his availability for the start of the match. However, he acknowledged that he is still in the recovery process.

Additionally, there’s a chance that San Francisco’s starting quarterback, Brock Purdy, could return for next week’s game against the Atlanta Falcons.

The same situation applies to the 49ers’ wide receiver, Ricky Pearsall, who is recovering from a knee injury.

Jones has played in three games for San Francisco this season, and the 49ers have won all those matches.
