Pacers Advance to Conference Finals After Defeating Cavaliers
Cleveland – Tyrese Haliburton shined with 31 points, while Pascal Siakam added 21, guiding the Indiana Pacers to their second consecutive Eastern Conference final. The Pacers defeated the Cavaliers with a score of 114-105 on Tuesday night, eliminating the number one team in five games.
Donovan Mitchell, who missed the second half of Sunday’s game due to a sprained left ankle, led Cleveland with 35 points. Evan Mobley contributed 24 points and 11 rebounds.
The fourth-seeded Pacers now await the winner of the matchup between the Boston Celtics and the New York Knicks. New York holds a 3-1 series lead, with Game 5 scheduled for Thursday night in Boston.
Indiana overcame a 19-point deficit in the first half and took control after halftime, winning all three games at Cleveland’s Rocket Arena.
It’s the first time since the 2005 first-round series against Boston that the Pacers have won three road games in a playoff series.
The Cavaliers lost three home games in a postseason series for the first time.
