The Denver Nuggets are restructuring their leadership in sports management, according to sources close to the franchise.

Key New Additions

Ben Tenzer has been named Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations. In addition, Jon Wallace, coming from the Minnesota Timberwolves, joins the team as Executive Vice President of Player Personnel. Both executives will report directly to Josh Kroenke. These appointments come after recent team changes, including the firing of coach Michael Malone and general manager Calvin Booth at the end of the season. David Adelman was hired as a coach and now Tenzer and Wallace will lead the newly restructured basketball leadership group. In the selection process, the Nuggets also interviewed Eric Amsler, vice president of player personnel for the Miami Heat, and Chuck Hayes, director of basketball operations for the Golden State Warriors, for roles in the front office.
