Milwaukee, Defending Champion, Reveals Schedule for NBA Cup Tournament

The NBA has announced the groups for the third edition of the NBA Cup tournament, which will begin on October 31st. The current champion, Milwaukee, will face New York, Chicago, Charlotte, and Miami in the group stage. The group stage will run until November 28. The quarterfinals will be played on December 9 and 10, while the semifinals will take place on December 13 in Las Vegas. The championship game, which will not affect regular season records or statistics, will be played on December 16, also in Las Vegas. In the group stage, each team will play two away games and two home games. Teams that do not advance to the quarterfinals or semifinals will have additional games against two other teams that also did not qualify for the Cup playoffs, thus completing the 82-game season. The quarter-final and semi-final matches will count towards the regular season for the teams involved. The full schedules will be announced in August, coinciding with the release of the rest of the NBA schedule for the 2025-26 season.
