Luka Doncic Reveals Physical Transformation After Intense Summer Training

The basketball star, Luka Doncic, has shared details about his notable physical transformation and the hard work done during the summer. The player, known for his skill on the court, revealed that he has taken a “huge step” in improving his health and physical condition. Doncic, who has been training in Croatia for the last two months, highlighted that “his whole body looks better” as a result of his dedication. The player focused on a rigorous training regimen and a specific diet. The player followed a gluten-free and low-sugar diet, combined with intermittent fasting and a high protein intake, consuming at least 250 grams daily. This combination, along with an intense training program, has yielded notable results.

Visually, I would say that my whole body looks better.

Doncic, who has faced criticism about his weight and physical condition throughout his NBA career, was optimistic about the results obtained. The 26-year-old player has two years remaining on his contract with Los Angeles, including a player option for the 2026-27 season. According to reports, Doncic contacted his representative immediately after his team’s elimination, expressing his desire to begin his training program immediately. “Every summer I try to improve in different aspects,” Doncic commented. “This summer was a little different, it motivated me to be even better.” The training included a month without basketball, according to physiotherapist Javier Barrio, who stated that Doncic did not resume shooting practice until June.

I think he sees the difference this summer and is very happy.

Doncic added that he was inspired by Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant, who, he said, “sacrificed a lot” during their offseason training. “This year, with my team, I think we took a huge step,” Doncic declared. “But this is just the beginning, I need to keep going. I can’t stop.”
