LeBron James and Stephen Curry Rule Out Participation in the 2028 Olympics
In a recent podcast conversation, NBA superstars LeBron James and Stephen Curry have made it clear that they have no plans to compete for the men’s basketball team in the 2028 Olympic Games, which will be held in Los Angeles.James, who will be 43 during the 2028 Games, expressed his intention to follow the event as a spectator. Curry, for his part, although not as blunt as James, suggested that his participation is unlikely.“You already know my answer,” James affirmed.

James has competed in four Olympic Games, obtaining a bronze medal in 2004 and gold medals in 2008, 2012, and 2024. Curry, for his part, debuted in the 2024 Olympic Games, where he had an outstanding performance in the gold medal match, helping the United States defeat France in Paris.“If God wills, I will still have the option and the physical ability to impact the team. Never say never, but I doubt it very much. I doubt it very much,” Curry commented.
